Three concerts were held during the festival and included such classics as "Plum-Blossom in Three Movements," "High Mountain and Flowing Water" and "Guangling Melody".
This is the first time that such a Guqin festival has been held in China. It aims to spread the ancient musical culture and promote exchanges between players. The Chinese people sometimes refer to the Guqin as "the father of Chinese music".
