A panel discussion titled “China and the International Order” has been held at the ongoing Munich Security Conference. Fu Ying, Chairwoman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress of China, attended the discussion.

Fu said China seeks to establish an equal and mutually beneficial international order while hoping to make more contributions to the world. She added that China’s role in international politics is garnering attention because of its position in the world economy. She said Chinese leaders support and have a sense of belonging to the present international order.
Fu also exchanged ideas with other diplomats on topics such as the China-U.S. relationship, China’s cyber-security, and its intellectual property protections.
