China C.bank to conduct open-market actions daily

China's central bank is firming up its liquidity support. The PBOC on Thursday started to conduct open market operations on a daily basis. The previous frequency for the PBOC's open market practice was twice a week. Conducting such operations daily could give the PBOC more flexibility in managing the amount of cash in the financial system. It is part of the PBOC's move towards more nuanced and targeted monetary policy approach.
