A Turkish official says a group of 45 Pakistani migrants has arrived in the Turkish port of Dikili. The group is part of the second batch of over 100 migrants deported from Greece, under an EU deal to stem mass migration to Europe. The migrants will be taken by bus to reception centres in Kirklareli on the Turkish-Bulgarian border.
Then, they are expected to be deported back to their home country. The implementation of the deal started on Monday. It quickly ran into trouble, as migrants on the Greek islands launched a flurry of requests for asylum, which legally prevents them from being deported.
