China on Monday said it will work with India to speed up negotiations on the boundary issue prior to Indian President Pranab Mukherjee’s state visit.
本周一中国政府表示，将在印度总统穆克吉访华之前，与印度加快边界问题谈判。
Mukherjee begins his visit on Tuesday at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
应中国主席习近平之邀，印度总统穆克吉将于本周二开始对中国进行访问。
In an interview with Chinese media, Mukherjee said he is willing to find a fair, reasonable and mutually acceptable resolution to the issue.
在和中国媒体的采访中，穆克吉表示他愿意寻求一个公平、合理且双方都接受的方法来解决这个问题。
Foreign ministry spokesperson Hua Chunying said on Monday that China and India are committed to solving the disputes through negotiations.
本周一，外交部发言人华春莹表示，中印两国正致力于通过谈判解决争端。
Both countries have engaged in negotiations, managed their disputes and preserved peace in the area under dispute for three decades, said Hua at a daily press briefing.
在外交部例行新闻发布会上，华春莹表示，在过去的三十年里，中印两国一直在谈判，有效地管控（双方在该问题上的）争端，并且维持了该地区和平。
The two countries have a number of boundary-related mechanisms including special representatives to deal with the issue.
中印两国就边界争端问题存在许多的机制，例如（派遣）特别代表处理相关事务。
"China is willing to continue working with India to accelerate negotiations and resolve the issue at an early date," said Hua.
华春莹表示：“中国愿意同印度一起推进谈判，早日解决这一问题。”
The 19th Special Representatives’ Meeting on the China-India Boundary Question was held in Beijing on April 20 led by Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi, China’s special representative, and Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval.
