He said over 70 states and international organizations are participating in the China-initiated Belt and Road initiative.

Xi said China has signed cooperative agreements with over 30 countries to jointly build routes along the Silk Road. Chinese companies have invested nearly 15 billion US dollars in regions along the routes, creating over 60,000 jobs outside of China in production capacity cooperation deals.
Currently, trade with countries along the routes accounts for 25 percent of China's foreign trade volume.
