The US National Security Advisor Susan Rice is beginning a three-day visit to China on July 24. At her first stop, Beijing, Rice will meet with senior Chinese government officials, including State Councilor Yang Jiechi to discuss a range of bilateral, regional and global issues.
From the Chinese capital, Rice will move south to Shanghai to meet with business executives to discuss conditions for American businesses based in China, as well as some local residents. this is Rice's fourth visit to China in her current role. She's also hoping to make final preparations ahead of President Obama's visit to China for the G20 Summit in September.
