BEIJING, May 23 (CCTV.com) -- An Australian motorcade arrived in Dunhuang, a Silk Road city in northwestern Gansu Province, on May 21, visiting the scenic spots of Mingsha Mountain Crescent Springs and Mogao caves.

The motorcade is made up of eight vintage cars. A total of 17 people have participated in this tour. By this fresh and unique way to revisit the ancient Silk Road, they experienced the ancient civilization of the Silk Road and appreciated the rapid development and changes along the Silk Road in the new period.
The motorcade departed from Thailand’s Bangkok, and then entered China from Yunnan Province, passing through Guizhou, Chongqing, Jiangxi, Anhui, Shanghai, Xi’an, Gansu and Xinjiang.
