Chinese customers of ride-hailing app Uber have been getting their ride requests answered by scammers who have come to be known as “ghost drivers,” The Paper reported Sunday.
2. 司机在接单后,不联系乘客,也不去接乘客,而是迅速开始行程并在一两分钟内就结束行程并收取相应费用(the ghost drivers take ride orders and finish the trips within a few minutes without picking up any passengers, the passengers have to pay for the trip anyway)。
Office ghost refers to an employee who maintains a position at a company despite the fact that all of his job duties have been reassigned to other employees. this could be by the ghost's own design or due to restructuring within the department.
