Police in East China’s Jiangsu Province Friday confirmed online reports that they had detained a woman for abducting a 12-year-old Vietnamese girl after doctors raised the alarm during an antenatal health check.
之前曾有网络报道，一名医生在孕检中发现了一名12岁的外籍女孩，随即报警，而本周五，江苏省警方证实了这一消息，并且已经拘留了一名涉嫌诱拐女孩的妇女。
Police in Xuzhou’s Tongshan district stated on their Sina Weibo account on Friday that police in neighboring Quanshan district informed them Tuesday that they believed the young girl to be an abductee after receiving a call from the local hospital.
本周五，徐州铜山地区警方在其新浪微博上发文称，隔壁泉山区警方在收到医院报警后于本周二向其报告说，他们认为这名12岁外籍少女是被绑架而来。
An official investigation later found that a woman surnamed Xie from Central China’s Henan Province abducted the girl and sold her to a Xuzhou man surnamed Liu, China National Radio reported Friday.
本周五，据中国国家广播电台报道，随后开展的一项官方调查显示，河南一名谢姓女子将这名女孩绑架而来，然后卖给了徐州一名刘姓男子。
According to Xuzhou Central Hospital, Xie and Liu claimed to be the girl’s relatives when they brought her in for an examination on Tuesday and they told doctors that the girl was 20. Doctors found the girl had been pregnant for 12 weeks.
据徐州中心医院表示，本周二当谢姓女子和刘姓男子将小女孩带往医院接受检查时，这两人声称是小女孩的亲戚，并谎称女孩已经20岁了。医生检查发现，女孩已经怀孕12周。
However, doctors doubted that she was 20 years old, based on her physical appearance.
但是，从女孩的外貌上看，医生很怀疑到底是否真的有20岁。
During the examination, her "relatives" took charge of communication with a doctor who later asked them to wait outside so he could talk to the girl.
在检查中，小女孩的“亲戚”负责和医生沟通交流，这名医生随后要求那两人到外面等候，以便于他直接和小女孩说话。
The girl, who lacked any kind of identification, said she was a foreigner and was not able to speak to the doctor, The Beijing News reported.

Tongshan police said on their Weibo that they have detained Xie, but offered no further details about the girl’s identity.
据铜山区警方在其新浪微博上表示称，他们已经拘留了谢姓女子，但是没有提供更多关于小女孩身份的信息。
A total of 14 Vietnamese women and girls have been abducted in South China’s Yunnan Province and sold since 2011, CCTV reported.
据CCTV报道，自2011年以来，云南省已经有14名越南籍妇女被绑架、贩卖。
