The two-month long protests have left the Ukrainian capital in disarray.
Protestors clash with riot police in the center of Kiev on January 22, 2014.
Major streets have been occupied by protesters where they set up temporary tents. The remains of burnt cars, tyres and bombs stayed untouched, garbage left unattended to.
And many shops have closed their doors to business. Public facilities have been used to build barricades against security forces, which protesters say is to protect the people who are holding a non-violent protest.
