According to the World Health Organization (WHO), failure to find a sexual partner is now considered a "disability."
世界卫生组织称，交不到性伴侣将被定义为一种残疾。
In a report, Telegraph said that WHO is gearing towards changing the definition of "infertility." The WHO will declare next year that single men and women without medical issues, if they do not have children but want to become a parent will be classified as "infertile."
据《每日电讯报》报道，世卫组织正打算更改“不孕不育”的定义，即从明年起，所有身体健康的单身男女，如果他们想要为人父母却又膝下无子，就会被归为“不孕不育”。
"The definition of infertility is now written in such a way that it includes the rights of all individuals to have a family, and that includes single men, single women, gay men, gay women," said Dr. David Adamson.
大卫·亚当森表示，“这样定义不孕不育，就是为了给予每个人生育的权力，不管这个人是单身男女还是同志。”
"It says an individual’s got a right to reproduce whether or not they have a partner. It’s a big change. It fundamentally alters who should be included in this group and who should have access to healthcare. It sets an international legal standard. Countries are bound by it."
“这个定义表明，一个人不管是否有伴侣，都有做父母的权力。这是一个非常重大的变化，从根本上改变了不孕不育所涵盖的人群，以及应该享有医疗保健的人群。它设置了国际法律标准，所有国家都要受到该标准的约束。”
Currently, the WHO defines "infertility" as "a disease of the reproductive system defined by the failure to achieve a clinical pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular unprotected sexual intercourse" or as "the inability of a sexually active, non-contracepting couple to achieve pregnancy in one year."
目前世卫组织将“不孕不育”定义为“生殖系统患有某种疾病，具体表现为定期进行无保护措施的性交，一年多以后仍未临床受孕”，或者“尽管夫妇性生活频繁且无避孕措施，但一年之内无法受孕”。
Meanwhile, not everyone agrees with the proposed new definition. Express quoted Josephine Quintavalle, from Comment on Reproductive Ethics, who contested the move:

"This absurd nonsense is not simply re-defining infertility but completely side-lining the biological process and significance of natural intercourse between a man and a woman. How long before babies are created and grown on request completely in the lab?"
“荒谬！这不是重新定义不孕不育，而是不顾生物学进程，忽略男女之间的自然结合。要想生养孩子完全在实验室进行，那我们可有的等了。”
