Passengers on board high-speed trains can only order meals one hour prior to departure time starting from Jan. 18, which has been cut from the previous two hours by China Railway Corporation (CRC), the paper.cn reported.
人民网报道，从1月18日开始，乘坐高铁的旅客可以在开车前一个小时订外卖，比之前的两个小时，时间缩短。
Passengers can order their meals or return food orders via CRC’s official train ticket booking website 12306.cn or mobile app one hour ahead of departure time, and the meal will be delivered to the passenger’s seat by railway staff.
在发车一小时前，乘客可以通过中国铁路总公司官方网站12306或者其app点餐，食物会由铁路工作人员送达到乘客手中。
CRC says the move is to better meet passenger needs and improve its service. In addition, to enrich the selection, passengers will also be able to order local specialties along the journey.
中国铁路总公司称，此次更改是为了更好地迎合乘客需求，提高服务水平。另外，为了丰富选择，乘客还可以订沿途的特色食物。
