With China's Qingming Festival approaching, some stores on the country's biggest online market Taobao have begun offering to send "professionals" to weep at graves on tomb-sweeping day, the Beijing Times reported on Monday.
据《京华时报》周一报道,随着清明节的临近,中国最大的网络商城淘宝上的一些商户开始推出清明节代人祭扫服务。
据报道,淘宝网的一些商家提供了扫墓套餐(tomb-sweeping packages),只要支付500元,客户就可以雇人替他们上坟(visit tomb)、磕头(kowtow)、哀悼(mourn)、打扫墓地(clean the gravesite)、以及敬献供品和鲜花(offer sacrifices and flowers)。不过,这种“代人扫墓”(hire professionals to visit tomb)业务上线后一直乏人问津。
清明节(Qingming Festival/Tomb-sweeping Day)是对逝者表达哀思的日子,上坟(visiting tombs)、扫墓(sweeping tombs)、上供(offering sacrifices)等都是这一天的习俗。同时,人们也会借机出去踏青(go for a spring outing),迎接春天的到来。
