Thai police say two passers-by have been wounded by gunshots fired from a park in the heart of the capital Bangkok. The park has been occupied by anti-government protesters.
Protest spokesman Akanat Promphan said he was unaware of the incident. Medical services say both the wounded have now been discharged from hospital.
23 people have been killed and more than 700 injured since Thailand’s latest round of political unrest began in November. Protesters are calling for prime minister Yingluck Shinawatra to resign.
