OSAKA, March 7 (Xinhua) -- A huge fire broke out in the northern part of Osaka in western JapanFriday morning, but there were no immediate reports of injuries, local press reported.
The fire occurred at around 6:10 a.m. local time in a business zone where many restaurants are located in Yodogawa Ward of the city, the report said, adding that some 10 houses with a total floor area of more than 1,000 square meters have been burned down.
The cause of the fire, which is still burning, is not clear. A nearby railway station was forced to be partly closed due to the fire. Local firefighters are still trying to put out the fire, according to the report.
