1:I have to be awfully careful today. My parents were fit to be tied last night when I came home after midnight.
2:My friend Tom was quite overweight. But he has been on a diet and never touches the junk food he used to love. And what is more, he has been doing regular exercises and running ten miles each morning ever since he joined a health club. Now he has lost 30 pounds and is looking very fit and trim.
第三个习惯用语是: fit to a T。
3:The roast turkey was cooked fit to a T. We were amazed - Mary's such a hard-working business executive that we never thought she could make such a good meal.
我们再来学个习惯用语: fit for a king。
