他老毛病又犯了.
slip into:进入,陷入(某种不愉快的状态)
He began to slip into debt. 他开始欠债了.
The patient had slipped into a coma. 病人陷入昏迷状态.
2.He's such a slug.
他太蘑菇了.
3.I'm happy with my lot.
我很满足.
lot: a person's luck or situation in life 命运;生活状况
She was feeling very dissatisfied with her lot. 她对自己的生活状况感到很不满意.
4.Things got a bit overheated.
气氛有点紧张。
5.I was in a brown study.
我刚才走神了.
6.The film will chill you to the marrow.
这部片子能把你吓死。
7.She is stepping out on me.
她对我不忠.
8.It makes me queasy.
我想吐.
queasy: feeling sick; wanting to vomit 恶心的;欲吐的
Travelling by boat makes me queasy. 我坐船会感到恶心.
9.She's generous to a fault.
她大方的离谱.
to a fault: used to say that somebody has a lot, or even too much, of a particular good quality (良好品质)过分,过度
She is generous to a fault. 她过分慷慨.
10.We're over the hump now.
最困难的时刻过去了.
