只要学过英文的人对day都不陌生，every day, a sunny day, have a nice day. 但许多和day连结的片语和惯用语，可就不是人人有把握了。今天要来看的就是几个常用的day 用语，学起来就可马上派上用场了。
1. day job : 正职、主要收入来源、擅长的事
Don’t give up your day job.
不要放弃你的主要工作 ( 劝人不要好高鹜远，追逐不切实际的梦想 )
Gardening is my day job.
园艺是我的正职工作
2. day off : 休息日、休假
I won’t be here on Friday. It’s my day off.
我星期五不在，那天我休假
Mark is taking three days off next week.
Mark下周休假 3 天
3. the other day : 几天前、前几天
I met Kate at a coffee shop the other day.
我前几天在咖啡馆和Kate碰面
It’s really hot the other day.

4. day after day : 日复一日，每天
I am tired of doing the same thing day after day.

12. make somebody’s day : 让人很开心很高兴
