日常作息的写法，其实不难，有一些英文片语就常可用来描述自己的生活。现在就让我来以自己的一天为例，介绍如何使用这些片语。
I wake up at 6 o’clock. I get up at 6.50. I make a cup of tea and iron my clothes. I have a shower and get dressed. I usually wear jeans, a blouse, a jumper or cardigan and boots in winter and a blouse in summer. I pack my bag ready with all my teaching materials. I then put on my coat and leave the house. I walk to the bus stop. I catch the bus at 8.15, I pay my fare and sit down. It takes about 45 minutes to my destination three miles away. I get off the bus and walk to the school where I teach English. I have to sign in and get the key. Class starts at 9.25 and ends at 11.25.
我六点醒来，六点五十起床，泡杯咖啡，用熨斗烫我的衣服，接着洗澡，穿好衣服。我通常在冬天穿牛仔裤，衬衫，毛衣还有靴子，在夏天时则穿衬衫。我准备我的教材，放进我的背包，然后穿上外套离开家。我走到巴士站，在八点十五分搭上车，我付车钱然后坐下，大概需要花四十五分钟抵达三英哩外的目的地。我下车，走到教英文的学校，我必须签到，然后拿钥匙，九点二十五分开始上课，十一点二十五分结束。
I have lunch at 12. I eat a baguette or sandwich at the local cafe. I do some shopping, then I walk back to school. I do some photocopying and go back to my classroom. I teach in the afternoon from 1 to 3pm. I then catch the bus back home and spend a couple of hours relaxing before I cook dinner.
我十二点吃午餐，我在当地的咖啡馆吃法国面包或三明治，我买一些东西，然后走回学校，影印一些文件，回到我的教室。我从下午一点到三点教课，然后搭巴士回家，在我准备晚餐前，会休息几个小时之后。
My son goes to work shortly after I come home. Sometimes the dinner is cooked by him before I get there, sometimes I cook. I like to eat rice or pasta with a sauce. I chop the onions and fry them and then mix them with garlic tomatoes, carrots, spinach and chilli. I boil the rice. After dinner I wash up, sweep the floor and tidy up a bit.
我儿子在我回家之后很快就去上班了，有时候在我回家之前他会煮好晚餐，有时候则是我来准备。我喜欢吃配上酱料的米饭或义大利面，我切洋葱，炒洋葱，然后将它们和番茄大蒜，红萝卜，菠菜以及辣椒拌在一起。我煮饭。吃过晚饭后，我洗洗手，扫地然后整理一下。
Then I make phone calls, mark my students’ work, do the laundry, I go on Facebook, or watch TV until about 10.30 when my son comes home. We catch up on our day, and at about 11 o’clock I go to bed.
接着，我打电话，批改学生作业，洗衣服，逛脸书或看电视直到我儿子回家，差不多十点半。我们聊一聊今天发生的事，大约十一点的时候，我上床睡觉。
Other days I get up early, go downstairs put on my computer and teach on EF English Live for three hours. Then I have a break, eat dinner with my son, have a walk or go shopping before returning to work and teaching again for another three hours. Working at home can be very convenient and I love being able to talk to people around the world. It is also nice working in a school and seeing people on a regular basis and working in a team. So I feel I have the best of both worlds.
其他日子我会早起，到楼上去打开我的电脑，到EF English Live教英文三小时。接着我会休息一下，和我儿子一起吃晚餐，去散步或买东西，之后回到家工作，再另外教英文三个小时。在家工作非常方便，我喜欢和来自全世界各地的人交流。在学校工作也很好，和一个团队一起工作，也可以固定见到共事的人，所以可以享有两种不同的工作方式，我觉得很好，很喜欢！
