A Mongolian-flagged cargo ship carrying 13 DPRK crew members has gone missing off South Korea’s southern coast. Three crew members have already been found at sea.
South Korea’s coast guard says the 4,300-ton-class ship sent a distress signal early Friday in waters about 130 kilometers south of the country’s port city of Yeosu. South Korea’s coast guard has mobilized 13 vessels and six aircraft to search for the ship, which was sailing to China from the DPRK port city of Chongjin.
