請求他人的幫助

Would you ……? / Can you ……?
Could I possibly ……? / Is it all right if I ……?
Would you mind ……? / Do you mind if I ……?
(最後這兩句,當你表示願意幫助別人時,回答是用”no”,因為這兩個句子都有「是否造成不便」的意思。
ex. A: Would you mind if I had some water? B: No, please go ahead.)

(最後的兩句是最委婉的,也就是「我部份贊同,但是……」的意思)

(I beg your pardon除了請他人重複所說的話外,也有極正式的用法
Ex. I beg your pardon, I didn’t mean to interrupt. 抱歉,我不是故意打擾的)
