身为台湾人的各位都知道 7/1 开始就可以预购首波三倍券了吧！政府发放三倍券的用意就是为了振兴经济，而「振兴经济」的英文该怎么说？让我们看看以下的报导吧。
Stimulus vouchers aimed at spurring consumption in Taiwan are available for pre-order from July 1, highlighting government efforts to boost economic activity in the post-pandemic new life.

stimulus voucher
stimulus 为名词，意思是「刺激，促进」，voucher 为名词，意思是「票券」，因此 stimulus voucher 意思就是「振兴券」，而我们所说的「三倍券」，英文为 triple stimulus voucher。
The Taiwanese government has issued stimulus vouchers to boost the economy following the recession caused by the virus.
台湾政府发行振兴券，试图促进因疫情所造成的经济衰退。
boost
boost 为动词，意思是「促进，推动」，例如：boost economy (促进经济，振兴经济)。
Governments in different countries have devised various plans to boost domestic economic growth.
各国政府发想不同的计画来刺激国内经济成长。
The new policy aims to boost tourism in Taiwan.
这项新政策旨在促进台湾的观光业。
All Taiwan nationals and foreign spouses of Taiwan citizens with residency are eligible to receive the benefits by making an out-of-pocket payment of NT$1,000 (US$34) in return for NT$3000 in vouchers.

eligible
eligible 为形容词，意思是「有资格的，符合资格的」，常用片语为 be eligible for sth. / to do sth.。
Sally’s high grades make her eligible for this scholarship.
Sally 的分数够高，所以她有资格获得奖学金。
Because he is poor, he is eligible for a government subsidy.
因为他经济情况不佳，所以有资格获得政府提供的补助。
out-of-pocket
out-of-pocket 为形容词，意思是「自付的，垫付的」，例如：out-of-pocket expenses (垫付费用)，多于商业时使用，指的是自己先支出而日后公司会核销的费用。
She incurred some out-of-pocket expenses during her business trip to the U.S.
她去美国出差时产生了一些垫付费用。
There will be no out-of-pocket costs if you have a national health card.
如果你有健保卡的话，就不会有需要自付的费用。
三倍券可以在线上或是便利商店预购，并在指定的店家和超商领取，而 7/15 开始，也可以直接去邮局现场购买领取。如果你有跟上首波预购热潮的话，在 7/15-31 这段期间就可以拿到热腾腾的三倍券了！而领取三倍券时该携带哪些证件？可别太过兴奋而两手空空就出门，这样可得空手而归啰！
Printed vouchers can be pre-ordered online or at major convenience stores countrywide July 1-7 and collected July 15-31 at designated locations including drugstores and supermarkets. Individuals are required to present their national health cards, national ID cards or Alien Resident Certificates when picking them up.

national 为形容词，意思是「国民的，国家的」，national 当名词，意思是「国民，公民」。如果在字首加上 inter- (在…之间)，international 意思为「在国家之间」，也就是「国际的」。

stored value card
store 在此作动词，意思是「储值」，value 在此作名词，意思是「价格」，因此 stored value card 的意思为「储值卡」，哪些卡是储值卡呢？一卡通、悠游卡或是 icash，都属于储值卡，就是我们需要储值现金才可以使用的卡。
You can get your digital stimulus vouchers on a stored value card and get extra money in return.
你可以用储值卡获得数位振兴券，并得到额外的回馈金额。
然而，三倍券可不是随处都可以使用的！哪些地方可以使用三倍券，哪些地方不能使用呢？

expenditure 为名词，意思是「花费，支出」，相似词为 costs，常用的字词如：public expenditure (公共支出)。

exempt
exempt 作形容词，意思是「被豁免的，被免除的」，常用片语为 be exempt from (从…中免除)。
He was exempt from jury duty because he knew the accused.
因为他认识被告，所以免除担任陪审员的义务。
My brother was exempt from military service because he had bad eyesight.
我哥哥因为视力太差而被免除兵役。
