1. 讲不停的不间断句！ (run-on sentence)
什么是 run-on sentence ? 简单的说，就是这个句子该画下句点了，你却硬要接下去。在写一个句子时，若是没有使用连接词或是分号，一个句子只能存在一个独立子句 (independent clause，至少包含一个主词和动词)。这样讲一定很难懂，直接来看例子吧！
VoiceTube is an online English learning platform, it teaches English with videos.
VoiceTube 是一个线上英语教学平台，它用影片教英文。
中文看起没问题，但由于英文的 VoiceTube is an online English learning platform 就已经是一个完整的句子了，后面若要接东西，就要用适当的连接词或标点符号。
有两种改正方式：
1. VoiceTube is an online English learning platform. It teaches English with videos.
2. VoiceTube is an online English learning platform, and it teaches English with videos.
2. 断手断脚不完整句！ (sentence fragments)
错误的例子：
I need to have better time management. Because I’m currently practicing for a dance performance, working as an intern, and preparing for a presentation at the same time.
修正：
I need to have better time management because I’m currently practicing for a dance performance, working as an intern, and preparing for a presentation at the same time.
because 是连接词，要连接两个子句才行。
另外，很多时候口语的用法并不会回答一个完整的句子，在一般对话是可以的，但正式写作时就会是错的。
Jeff: Hey, Jack, wanna have dinner together?
Jack: I would love to, but I can’t. Got a project to finish tonight.
Got a project to finish tonight省略了主词，在口语对话是可以懂的，但写作时则要改成：
I’ve got a project to finish tonight.
