“Hi, Yvonne, we have come to watch the live election results TV broadcast.”
“ Election campaigning in Canada is not as exciting as Taiwan’s.”
1.The running mate is the presidential candidate’s choice for vice president.
2.If the two candidates are running neck and neck, their vote counts are very close to each other.
3.The candidates are on the campaign trail, traveling around the country.
4.The mayor is on the stump for the candidates from his own party.
5.The party has mobilized thousands of rank and file members for the rally.
6. many elections usually involve incidents of mudslinging.
7. People go to a polling station to cast ballots.
8. In the end, the party won/lost by a landslide.
