一般通常为单数形态加s,

若字尾为sh, ch, s, z , x结尾的名词，则加es
dish – dishes (盘)
watch – watches (表)
fox – foxes (狐狸)
match – matches (火柴)
box – boxes (箱盒)
class – classes (课堂)
若是子音 + y的字母，则去y加ies
baby – babies (婴儿)
city – cities (城市)
country – countries (国家)
story – stories (故事)
industry – industries (产业)

字尾是fe 或 f时，则字尾改为 ves
