In the eastern Ukrainian city of Slovyansk, a pro-Russian armed militia patrolled the streets on Wednesday after previously seizing local police headquarters and the administration building. The troops were enthusiastically greeted in the largely pro-Russian city.

Slovakia’s Interior Minister Robert Kalinak said that he can’t yet specify what these measures are on the 98-kilometer long eastern border.
