There are more than 300 students from Danwon High School in Ansan on-board the vessel. 70 of them have been rescued and three confirmed dead. The remains of the three students have been sent back to their home town. Families of the missing ferry passengers prayed on Friday morning for the return of their loved ones, as about 270 remain missing.

about 60 rescued students have been receiving treatment in the hospital. Most of them were only slightly injured, but suffering tremendous mental anguish. The hospital has begun to psychologically treat the survivors.
