A group of Japanese lawmakers has visited the controversial Yasukuni Shrine. 146 representatives from both houses of parliament made the trip early on Tuesday, to mark a three-day spring festival. The Yasukuni Shrine honors Japan’s war dead, including 14 Class-A convicted war criminals from World War Two.
