俄罗斯、乌克兰、欧洲委员会在华沙讨论天然气问题未能达成协议。
Officials from Russia, Ukraine and the European Commission have been unable to reach an agreement in talks over a gas energy dispute in Warsaw.
The EU’s energy commissioner said after the meeting in Warsaw that common ground must be found in Russia’s dispute with Ukraine. He added that the sides have agreed to hold trilateral talks in mid-May and at the end of May.
Moscow has hiked the price of gas for Ukraine by 70 percent to 485 US dollars per thousand cubic meters. Ukraine’s energy minister says Ukraine will take the price issue to a European arbitration court this month.
Meanwhile, Russia’s Energy Minister says his country may limit deliveries if Kiev does not respect that new price, and repay a debt of 3.5 billion dollars by May 31st.
