导读:5·20由于谐音“我爱你”被许多人当做表达心意的日子,今天你表白了吗?
Do you still think as native Mandarin-speakers, it’s hard to express their feelings of love to someone? Don’t forget that Chinese romance poems have been the most favored genre in literature for a thousand years in China.
你还认为用普通话很难向别人表白吗?但是别忘了在中国,浪漫诗可是千多年来最受欢迎的文学体裁。
We have all kinds of creative ways to express our love! Here are some basic ways that you can start with. Ok, here we go:
中国人有许多创意性的方式来表白!下文就为你介绍了一些最基本的表白套路:
Wǒ duì nǐ yǒu hǎogǎn (“I have feelings for you”, Or “You give me good vibes.”)
一、我对你有好感。
When you have this [好感(hǎogǎn)] towards someone, you are at the initial stage of falling in love. You only have very few butterflies in your stomach.
当你对某人有“好感”时,你就已经开始爱上Ta了,这时你心里会感到忐忑不安。
Wǒ xǐhuān nǐ (“I like you.”)
二、我喜欢你。
喜欢(xǐhuān) means “to be fond of”. The most beautiful part of this verb is:[喜(xǐ)] and[欢(huān)]both mean “joy.” To like somebody means that the person gives you a lot of joy.
to be fond of就是“喜欢”的意思,而这个词最美的地方就是“喜”和“欢”都有快乐的意思,也即是说喜欢一个人就是那个人会带给你许多快乐。
Now you have many more butterflies in your stomach when you say[我喜欢你。(Wǒ xǐhuān nǐ.)] to a person. It may give him/her some butterflies, too.
当你对人说出“我喜欢你”的时候,你心中一定更加紧张,但是你的话语也可能会让Ta小鹿乱撞。
Wǒ wèi nǐ fēngkuáng (“I am crazy about you.”)
三、我为你疯狂。
疯狂(fēngkuáng) means “to go wild”, or “to be insane.”
to go wild和to be insane都是“疯狂”的意思。
When you express your feelings this way, the butterflies in your stomach have rushed to your throat and to your entire brain. I am sure you don’t need too much explanation on this one.
当你说出这些话的时候,表明你的爱意已经不受控制,快要喷薄而出了。说出这些话之后我想你不需要再多解释了。
Wǒ ài nǐ yìshēng yíshì (“I love you for all of my life.”)
四、我爱你一生一世。
爱(ài):love, or to love; 一生(yìshēng) and 一世(yíshì):a life time
love或者to love是“爱”的意思,而a life time可指“一生一世”。
Now you’ve come to the stage that gives you an urge inside to make a commitment to your partner. This sentence sounds like the numbers [520 1314] in Chinese. Therefore, the number [520 1314] is becoming a chat code in trends these days.
说出这些话时表示你已经对Ta爱意全露,内心渴望对意中人做出一生的承诺。“我爱你一生一世”的中文发音和“5201314”很像,因此情侣们在这些天里往往会用这一串数字来聊天。
Zhí zǐ zhī shǒu, yǔ zǐ xié lǎo (“I’d like to hold your hand and grow old with you.”)
五、执子之手,与子偕老。
执(zhí):To take; 子(zǐ):your; 手(shǒu):hand;
to take代表“执”,your代表“子”,hand代表“手”。
与(yǔ) :To be with; 偕老(xié lǎo):To grow old
to be with代表“与”,to grow old则可表示“偕老”。
This beautiful quote is taken from《诗经》(shī jīng) “The book of Songs.” A soldier composed this love poem before he headed fearlessly into battle. With his wife in mind he wrote, [死生契阔,与子成说。执子之手,与子偕老。], which means no matter how distant we are at the moment, I will never forget that I’ve promised to take your hand and grow old with you. However, whether the soldier got home safely in the end or what happened to him was not recorded in Chinese history.
这句妙语出自《诗经》。一个士兵写下这些诗句之后便义无反顾地投入死战之中,当时他心中念想自己的妻子写下了“死生契阔,与子成说。执子之手,与子偕老。”的千古佳句,意指“无论现在我们分隔多么遥远,我绝不会忘记牵着你的手和你一起变老的诺言”。但是,中国的史书中并没有记载这名士兵最终有没有安全归家、也没有对其境况加以记述。
