在军报微博微信发布平台，习近平敲击键盘，发出了一条微博：

Chinese President Xi Jinping posted his first Weibo during an inspection visit to the militarynewspaper People's Liberation Army (PLA) Daily on Friday, December 25, 2015.
“On the occasion of the coming new year, I extend my greetings to all the PLA commanders andfighters, armed police officers and militia reservists on behalf of the CPC Central Committee andthe CMC. I hope that we will all endeavor to achieve the goal of enforcing the army and fulfillingthe missions efficiently, making new greater contributions to realize the dream of China and thedream of a strong army!” the Weibo post said.
The post soon went viral on Weibo, forwarded for over 320,000 times in 30 hours and topped thesite’s searching ranking. It was also the most commented Weibo post by state leaders, accordingto guanmeimedia.com.
