It’s been 100 days since the Beijing-bound Malaysia Airlines flight lost contact with air traffic control. Malaysian acting Transport Minister Hishammuddin Hussein says Malaysia will not give up the search efforts, as it entered a more challenging phase.
Hishammuddin thanked all the international support, and the countries which have helped in the search operation, especially China and Australia.
He conveyed his condolences to the families of the passengers on board the plane and assured them that Malaysia would continue to do its utmost in the search. There were 239 people on the plane, when it went missing en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
