Two-hundred and seventy art works, created by Chinese both at home and overseas, are on display at the Louvre's Carrousel Hall. Organizers hope that the works will serve as a bridge for cultural exchange between the two peoples.
Traditional ink brush paintings, a staple of traditional Chinese fine art, feature dominantly, with one piece portraying French writer Victor Hugo. It was created by Chinese artist Wu Tong, who hopes such works will help local people better connect with Chinese art.
