In China Open, there was a pretty even match-up as world number 20 Sara Errani faced the 21st ranked Andrea Petkovic with a spot in the quarter-finals on the line. The Italian got the better of the German last time they played, as Errani prevailed in stright sets at the French Open.

Petkovic starts out looking like she was going to avenge that loss, the powerful forehand gives her this point as she takes the opening set 6-3.

The German would get the upperhand early in the second as another crisp forehand gives her two break points in the opening game -- but she would falter and drop the frame 6-3.

The decider would belong to the Italian -- check out this incredible passing shot that helps her break her opponent and take a 5-2 lead.

To match point, Petkovic would show some fight staying in this rally, but Errani changes tactics and this moonball seems to throw the German's timing off as she promptly hits it into the net, handing the match to the Italian, as she prevails in 3 sets and advances.
