At least 11 tourists have been killed, after their bus hurtled off a road in northern Thailand. The bus had collided with a car, in a mountainous area of popular tourist destination Chiangmai, around noon on Sunday.
Thai news agency reported 22 Malaysian Chinese tourists were onboard. Earlier reports said more than 10 injured had been rushed to hospital.
Thai police have confirmed with the Chinese Consulate-General in Chiangmai that, no Chinese nationals were involved in the accident.
