Seven people have been lifted from a collapsed gypsum mine in East China's Shandong Province, but 18 others remain trapped.
Local authorities say a total of 29 people were working underground when the collapse occurred at about 8 AM Friday in Pingyi County. Four people escaped.
A team of experts from the State Administration of Work Safety is at the site. The China Earthquake Networks Center reports the collapse was equivalent in force to a magnitude-4 earthquake.
