南京农业大学女学生毕业亲校长
对每个学生来说,读完四年大学拿到毕业证的那一刻是很特殊的。本周毕业于南京农业大学的闻如雪在该校的毕业典礼上干了件疯狂的事,她亲吻了校长!
Getting one’s diploma after four years of college is a special moment for every student.
Wen Ruoxue, who graduated from Nanjing Agricultural University this week, made the most of her moment on stage during her school’s commencement address by giving the school’s chancellor a peck on the cheek.
The student posted photos of the touching moment with chancellor Zhou Guanghong on Weibo, China’s version of Twitter.

Wen said the gesture was her way of showing her appreciation for the school official who leads the university she loves.

Wen told thepaper.cn the university chief treats all students well.
Apart from his regular work at the school, Zhou is known for making time for seemingly trivial matters – such as the installation of air conditioners in school buildings to make students comfortable, and campus lights so people can play ball games at night – that mean a lot to the young men and women that study at the university.
Kissing the president is a tradition at Nanjing Agricultural University, and has been listed to one of students’ must-try things during graduation ceremonies, Wen was quoted as saying.
“I first heard someone wanted to kiss our president at the commencement when I was a sophomore student, but the success rate is quite low,” Wen said.

On Weibo, people have generally approved of Wen's kiss.
“How good is the school’s environment that a student can kiss her president without being criticized? It means the headmaster is like family to the students. I never had that, and I admire her,” said @ZOEY-xiaoyi.

Wen was not alone in kissing the chancellor this year. The school’s own Weibo account posted a photo showing another student moving in to plant his lips on the school head’s cheek. Wen said the boy’s efforts were not in vain. Wen said every year, there are fewer than 10 people that kiss their principal out of respect.
Some online could not find the humor in the photos. “This is not funny! The graduation ceremony is a solemn situation,” said @dddd_5419 in thepaper.cn’s comments section.
