A chemical plant in Leng-shui-jiang City, central China's Hunan Province, caught fire on Saturday night. The blaze has been put out, and no casualties reported.
The fire broke out around 8:20 PM, at a warehouse containing chemicals and plastic bottles. The factory, on business of PVC additives, had suspended its production before the incident.
Local residents have been evacuated, and now, authorities are monitoring the air quality, and would alert the public of potential pollution.
