Premier Li Keqiang meets Bulgarian President
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang has met with Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev, who is on an official visit to China.
Li said bilateral relations have enjoyed sound development since the two countries established diplomatic ties 65 years ago. He said President Xi Jinping and President Rosen Plevneliev jointly announced upgrading bilateral relations to a comprehensive partnership on Monday, which will be an opportunity to deepen cooperation, expand exchanges and further promote bilateral relations.
Premier Li said China is willing to actively participate in helping Bulgaria improve its infrastructure, adding that China supports expanding bilateral cooperation in agriculture, science and education, and tourism.
President Plevneliev said his country is ready to intensify exchanges with China and welcomes Chinese investment in Bulgaria to build up its infrastructure. Plevneliev arrived in China on Sunday for a four-day state visit at Chinese President Xi Jinping’s invitation.
